My iWood for iPhone was Walnut, and the vibrate switch was the least of MY concerns. But it definitely wasn't large enough for me to access the vibrate toggle without taking the iWood off.

They have shipped me a new iWood as of this morning. They mentioned talking to Apple about my specific serial number because the problem with the stuck volume button didn't happen on my friend's 4GB iPhone or another 8GB- very strange.

Which wood did you chose? On mine the problem I had was with the opening for the ringer silence switch. It is cut to tight arround the switch.
